SYNOPSIS
Lauren Marcus is returning to New York after a self-imposed six-year exile from Atlantis, an environmental investment company she started years before with her two close friends, Jon and Barry.
The accidental death six years ago of a young girl, caused by one of Atlantis's clean up projects, has resulted now in jail time for Jon, and has put the company and Lauren's sense of idealism, in peril.
The subsequent course of events propels Lauren back into Atlantis, and she must decide if she is willing to reengage with the life she left so abruptly behind her.
Along with a young cousin and a cynical federal agent, she gets pulled into a mystery born in suicide, ending where it all began.
